Our growing business is a Material Handling company that supplies materials nationwide. Our company installs, dismantles, and relocates warehouse racking. The right candidate will be required to operate a forklift machine and less than 10% travel may be required. Training will be provided.

We are looking for a Full-time General Warehouse Worker for our Lawrenceville, GA office.

General Warehouse Worker salary starting at $16-$18.

• High school or GED equivalent.
• Forklift knowledge and certifications are a plus.
• Ensure safe and timely loading and unloading products; secures loads; and ensures accurate deliveries.
• Manage Proof of Delivery Paperwork from customers.
• Provides outstanding customer service and processes and communicates customer issues.
• Provides quality/ damage inspection of product at the loading and unloading stages.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required inspections.

Qualifications

• Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
• 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Maintains inventory by assisting in the counting of physical inventory.
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Must have dependable and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools.
• Must know how to operate a forklift.
• Good customer service skills.
• Physical ability to secures loads.
• Safe Driving Record: Including no DUIs in the last 7 years; no more than one preventable accident or one violation of motor vehicle laws within the year preceding application.
• Non-CDL truck driving experience preferred.
• Minimum 22 years of age.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
• Welding experience is preferred but not required.
• Must know how to use and read a tape measure.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements.
• Perform routine inspection and PM on equipment and refer defects to supervisor.
• Keep equipment clean, maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition.
• Report serious mechanical problems to the supervisor.
• Perform general labor duties.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Assist shipping and receiving with unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Perform other tasks assigned to support and improve overall operation.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to drive forklifts and scissor lifts safely.
• Must be comfortable with working independently.
• Must perform heavy manual tasks under moderate to difficult weather conditions.
• Must be able to travel with little advance notice.
• Must be flexible to work overtime.
• Must pass a drug screen, criminal background, and motor vehicle report successfully.
• Warehouse workers must be able to occasionally lift and/or move 50-100 lbs.
• Maintains inventory by assisting in the counting of physical inventory.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills.
• Must live in or around Lawrenceville, GA.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00-$18.00
